Welcome to Antrim Township, Michigan!
Antrim Township is a civil township of Shiawassee County in the state of Michigan formed in 1838.
As of the 2010 census, the township population was 2,161. The Township is believed to be named after either Antrim in Northern Ireland or Antrim, New Hampshire and is a rural / farming community and includes the unincorporated communities of Antrim Center and Nicholson.
The elevation of the Township is 869 feet above sea level and covers 36.8 square miles of which, 36.5 square miles of it is land and 0.2 square miles of it is water.
The Township is located in southwestern Shiawassee County in Central Michigan between Lansing and Flint on I-69.
